Cannock Chase District Council is looking for local residents, business people, voluntary organisations and community leaders to join a Neighbourhood Board that will oversee £20 million in government funding for Chadsmoor.
The council is recruiting an independent chair and board members to shape how the money will be spent over the next 10 years. Chadsmoor has been awarded £2 million per year through the Government's Pride in Place Programme, a community-led initiative designed to strengthen local areas and give residents greater control over decisions affecting their neighbourhood.
What the board will do
The Neighbourhood Board will develop a 10-year plan based on local priorities and ensure transparency in how the funding is used.

An expression of interest form is available online at www.cannockchasedc.gov.uk/prideinplace. Paper copies can be collected from Broomhill Albion Working Mens Club, West Chadsmoor Family Centre, or Moss Street Surgery.
A drop-in event will be held from 11.30am to 3pm on Tuesday 14 July 2026 at the Community Allotments off Lovatt Place.
Completed forms must be submitted by 12pm on Monday 27 July 2026 to Cannock Chase Council, Beecroft Road, Cannock.
